Who are we?
We are a team of Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialists and a Support Worker, specialising in lung cancer. We offer guidance and support from diagnosis and throughout the course of your treatment and aftercare.
We will generally see you in the Outpatient Department. Unfortunately we cannot visit people at home.
We can answer your questions and provide expert advice on lung cancer and treatments, however if you are on treatment it is vital you contact them in regards to treatment plans / queries and side effects.
We can help you to manage your symptoms. We can ensure you are in touch with the right people and access the right services for you e.g dietitian, physiotherapist, citizens advice or community support.
We are part of the multi professional team and will be able to liaise with other professionals in the team on your behalf, when necessary. We are also available to family / carers.
Where do we work?
We work at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and the Princess Royal Hospital.
