- Provide independent oversight and constructive challenge to the Board.
- Shape strategic priorities, ensuring they are aligned with our mission and values.
- Help foster a culture of inclusivity, learning, and accountability across the Trust.
Joining our Board means being part of a team that is shaping the Trust’s 2030 strategy—an ambitious plan that will tackle key challenges while maximising the opportunities afforded by our status as a university hospital, a major trauma and tertiary centre, and a hub for cutting-edge research and clinical education. Consequently, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in:
- Audit and financial oversight, providing assurance on governance and resources.
- Clinical innovation, driving excellence and forward-thinking approaches.
- Successful organisational transformation in complex environments.
