Biography
Dr Amit Gupta spent two years as a Senior House Officer junior doctor at the Royal Sussex County and Princess Royal Hospitals before embarking on a career in Radiology in 2013. He completed diagnostic and interventional radiology (IR) training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals in 2019 and then undertook a 12 month IR fellowship at the Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia. In 2021 he returned to Brighton after being appointed as a Consultant Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist at University Hospitals Sussex (UHSx) NHS Foundation Trust.
His Interventional Radiology practice includes a wide range of vascular and non vascular interventional radiology procedures. His diagnostic radiology practice includes acute and elective reporting. He is part of the Vascular and Renal multi disciplinary teams and also works closely with the UHSx Endo-urologists.
Amit enjoys kayaking and yoga, both of which complement the joy he finds in body boarding and surfing. He plays 5-a-side football every week with some other local dads.
