Lara Harwood

Lara Harwood, artist, award winning illustrator and printmaker, has worked in the creative industries since graduating with distinction from Camberwell Collage of Art. She combines a successful illustration career with her painting and printmaking practice.

Her bold positive images give verve to the campaigns she has been involved with, including those for the Royal Mail, Transport for London, BDO and her powerful, uplifting murals for the NHS Trust. Her work explores both abstract and figurative subjects, either drawing directly from life or working to create bold images full of rich colour and exuberant energy.

Lara is currently based in London.

Lara Harwood is one of 12 artists commissioned by University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, and Willis Newson, to create artworks that has been produced as large-scale feature wall prints and placed at key junctions to aid wayfinding around the redevelopment of Brighton’s Royal Sussex County Hospital.
