Kate Blee’s work is an exploration of colour relationships in a variety of mediums, from textiles through to glass and ceramics.
Kate studied at Edinburgh College of Art between 1980 and 1984 and set up her studio in London in 1986.
She has been involved in a wide range of art and design projects working for exhibitions, installations and commissions, and with architects and manufacturers.
Kate has worked with architects such as Sir Michael Hopkins, Rivington Street Studio, Allies and Morrison and Wilkinson Eyre and designers including Sir Paul Smith, Donna Karan and Christopher Farr.
She has also worked in arts and health settings, for example recently working with Macmillan Cancer Support in Brighton.
